The boys in blue in a forest near you (well, near us!)

Another great couple of days riding midweek with the law from Manchestawwww. Sadly this time I was unable to partake in the legendary 'apres bike' sessions due to the detox. Sorry fellas. Next time you boys are back I'll be making up for it. Vive la retox!

I'm pleased to say they went away after cleaning most of the techy bits in Dalby.

The boys in blue .. errm and orange.

Strike a pose fellas...

Could you ever tire of views like this?

Cheap camera. Ran out of colour pixels half way round.

Errm... then they came back again, just in time to see the boys riding off into the sunset. Who were those masked men?

They were "The Law from Manchestawww..."

Top couple of days. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon fellas.

Not all southerners are shandy's!

A great weekend of riding in and around Dalby with a great bunch from darn sarf in the land of palm trees and cocktails (kind of!). Bright fresh days, long rides and great banter...

Uh oh!

Told you the skies were blue!

Errm bikes...

'Ello Frenchie (don't mention the war)

No 'worries' (geddit?)

They came, they saw and they conquered. Slab up, Worry Gill, Medusa's, pah .. no problemo. Looking forward to see you all again guys. Might even join you for a jar or two .. come the retox!

Dads 'n' Lads

Catchy title hey!? It could just as easily be Mum's n Son's, Mum's and Daughter's (no singing the terrible soundalike soap theme tune though) or Dad'd n Daughters .. hmmm might have to work on the last one. Whichever and whatever, our groups are wide and varied from groups of 'ladies wot lunch', couples, friends and groups of blokes of all ages and abilities. As a Dad though I love to see that special bond between parent and child being extended to mountain biking. They are always great days, sometimes the parent encouraging their child to take up the sport they love but mostly the parent trying to keep up with their enthusiastic off-spring! Tony and Olly had a great day in the autumn sunshine and at the end of the two days, Tony was well on with technical descents and getting some air.

Raring to go in the autumn sunshine

C'mon Dad - this is how you do it!

Right behind ya Son!

Chillin' at the viewpoint.

So if you've ever wondered what to do in the school holidays to entertain the small loud things in your life, have a think about getting out on your bikes, enjoying the scenery, getting some excercise and getting a bit of bonding in. All part of the package!

Ok just because we're back in blogging action here's a nice view from our last ride!

Just a quick test as our blogs aren't appearing!

Hello from a sunny but cold Pickering. Latest news is that there's already been a dusting of snow up at Dixons Hollow in Dalby. Get your winter kit out!!
